Immediate Relative Petition and Family-Based Adjustment of Status
VLP CNY is seeking a volunteer attorney to assist a married couple with filing a one-step family petition and adjustment of status application.
The beneficiary is a Haitian national who was granted humanitarian parole, which is currently valid through May 4, 2026. Because of the parole expiration, we are hoping to file the application as soon as possible. The couple has been married since November 19, 2024.
The filing will require forms I-130, I-130A, I-864, I-485, I-765, and supporting documents.
VLP CNY will provide mentorship and support throughout the life of the case, including assistance with forms, document review, and case questions. We can also pair the volunteer attorney with a law student to assist with drafting and document preparation if helpful.
This is a great opportunity to help a local family move toward permanent residency.
